Document Identifier
|
The Document Identifier, or DODISS, refers to the alphanumeric identifier associated with a military,
federal, or non-government specification or standard. This search provides the ability to search
against partial Document Identifiers. The results list returned by the search will include all
documents that have a Document ID beginning with or exactly matching the search value specified.
For additional flexibility, just the numeric part of the Document Identifier can be entered for cases
where you can remember the NUMBER of the document but not the prefix.
(examples: 'MIL-A-16', or 'MIL-A-16040A', or just '16040')

The Document Title search provides the ability to search
for documents using words found in their titles. Partial values are accepted.
(examples: 'STEEL, PROTECTIVE PLATING, ALLOY LIGHT WEIGHT ', or just 'PLATING')
