This item has been previously sold to DLA by Statz Corp, Apex Defense, Tri-state tech, and JIT industries.  The most recent sale price was $267.68 each in quantity of 600.  DLA anticipates annual demand of around 242 units.  It has also been ordered through GSA in small quantities at $842.68 each.

Although source approval is required, engineering drawings are publicly available through military specification MIL-DTL-1222.

The bolt is used by the Navy in the CVN nuclear reactor boundary area.  Responses are due by July 6, 2020.

The Schroth Safety part number for this item is 900-US-07301.  It is used on the MRAP, CAT II ambulance, and the Joint EOC Rapid Response vehicle.
