DLA Land and Maritime, Fluid Handling Division is soliciting safety relief check values used in the M1 Abrams tank.  This valve, NSN 4820-01-508-5651 was last sold to DLA by USI, Inc. for a unit price of $2,230 in quantity of 45.  Other suppliers include Comptech corporation and Kampi Components.  The price has risen from $547 each in 2003.

The solicitation states an annual demand of 81 units, which will be ordered through delivery orders.  It mentions that the 81 units is not a fixed amount, and may vary.

The item is source controlled, but a technical data package is available for download.  Companies can apply to become approved sources.

All offers are due by January 19, 2021.  This contract is not set-aside for small business.

Hill Air Force Base is planning to issue an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for supply of cable assemblies used in the F-16 aircraft.   The solicitation is being issued through DLA Aviation ASC Commodities Division.  This contract will have two base years which must be executed, but can also include three option years.

This round fifteen foot connector, NSN 5995-01-435-5160 was originally manufactured by Lockheed Martin.  The most recent supplier was Newvac, LLC, which sold these cables for $1,400 each in quantity of 7.  DLA estimates annual demand at 30 each year.  If all five years of the contract are executed, it could be worth $210,000.
