The Defense Logistics Agency is planning to issue a long-term Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for up to five years for supply of miniature flashlights.  The most common brand of mini flashlight is the mini-mag light, but any manufacturer that can produce a similar light may submit a quote. This flashlight, NSN 6230-01-395-5230 is packaged in a blister pack with 2 AA batteries included.

The last company to supply these to the military was Apex Pinnacle, Corp for $7.65 each in quantity of 3,821.  Other suppliers include Statz Corporation and All American Contractors. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 1,182, but the government anticipates that they will order 2,880 each year.  The contract has one base year and four optional years.

If all five years of the contract are executed, we estimate the value of the contract at $110,160.

The contract is set-aside for small businesses only.  All offers are due by the end of the business day June 9, 2021.

DLA Aviation is soliciting fastener parts kits for delivery to Tinker Air Force Base.  These hardware kits, NSN 1560-01-597-2514 are composed of a variety of fasteners originally manufactured by Boeing (Part 520-14145-8).  Export controlled technical documentation is available on this kit allowing qualified companies to complete.

It was last sold to the military by Handy Tool & Manufacturing for $43,000 each kit.  DLA is soliciting 16 kits.  Other sources include Boeing, D-J Engineering, Tect Hypervelocty, and Forrest Machining.  We estimate the value of this contract at $688,000.

All offers are due by July 1, 2021, giving new vendors time to study the technical requirements and acquire the necessary approvals for this critical application item.

DLA Aviation is soliciting 10 power cables (NSN 6150-00-995-9828)  used in the MX Peacekeeper missile launch control system. These copper core cables are 32.5 feet long, four conductor and can handle 600 volts. A technical data package is available from the government for this item.  They must comply with quality standard ISO 9001 : 2015.

DLA estimates single unit cost at $10,163.  They were last sold to the military in quantity of 3 units for $8,324 by A Wiley & Associates.  The last order for these cables was in 2011.  Delivery is expected within 460 days of order, providing plenty of lead time. Based on past procurement history, we estimate the value of this contract at $83,240.
