DLA Aviation is planning to issue an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) lasting for up to five years for the supply of cables used on the Sincgars radio. Over the contract term, DLA will issue periodic delivery orders. There is no set quantity on the contract, but DLA estimates that they will need approximately 5,500 cables each year.
This cable, NSN 5995-01-426-6728 was last sold to the military by Opti Manufacturing for $49.95 each in quantity of 3,000. They have been supplying it since 2018 when they took the business from Anatech Electronics. If all five years of the contract are executed, we estimate the value at $1,373,625 based on past procurement history.
All offers are due by August 3, 2021.
