DLA Land and Maritime is going to issue a long-term contract for the supply of M4A1 Carbine Rifle Grips, NSN 1005-01-453-6655.  This is part of an ongoing effort by the military to upgrade M4 rifles to the new M4A1 design. There is no set quantity on the contract, but DLA estimates that they purchase 13,328 of these grips each year.  The contract will last for up to three years with one base and two option years.

The most recent supplier was Prudent American Technologies, which sold 3,185 rifle grips for $3.33 each.  Prior to that the only supplier was P&S Products dating back to 2007.  The price has risen from $1.75.  Based on past procurement history pricing we estimate the value of this contract at $133,146 if all three years are executed.

All offers are due by September 6, 2021. This contract is set-aside for small businesses only.
