DLA Troop Support has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a five year contract to supply a variety of food items to the U.S. Military. This contract covers Beverages, fruits and vegetables, Canned Meats, Starches, Condiments, Dehydrated Spices and Bases, and Bakery Items. For example, they are soliciting 118,920 bottles of fresh tomato salsa, 51,600 bottles of catsup, 9,240 containers of caned ham, and 27,000 boxes of hash brown potatoes.
