DLA Aviation will be issuing a long-term contract for the supply of machine bolts used on the MH-47 special operations helicopter. This contract will have one base year and four option years for a maximum of five years.  This bolt, NSN 5306-01-301-7794 has a Boeing part number of 114R3650-17.  DLA will submit periodic delivery orders against this contract.

They were last sold to the military by Avibank Manufacturing for $259.59 each in quantity of 206.  There is no set quantity in this contract, but DLA estimates that they will buy 516 of these bolts each year.  Based on past procurement history, we estimate the value of this contract at $668,220.

DLA Troop Support has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a five year contract to supply a variety of food items to the U.S. Military.  This contract covers Beverages, fruits and vegetables, Canned Meats, Starches, Condiments, Dehydrated Spices and Bases, and Bakery Items.  For example, they are soliciting 118,920 bottles of fresh tomato salsa, 51,600 bottles of catsup, 9,240 containers of caned ham, and 27,000 boxes of hash brown potatoes.  The complete list of items in in the solicitation.
