Tinker Air Force Base is planning to issue a three year contract for the supply of fuel injectors used in the T-38 aircraft.  The T-38 is a twin-engine, high-altitude, supersonic jet trainer used in a variety of roles because of its design, economy of operations, ease of maintenance, high performance and exceptional safety record.

These fuel injection nozzles, NSN 2915-00-106-5464 are used on the J85 GE-5 Turbojet Engine.  There are two line items in the solicitation, the first for suppliers that can accept a three year IDQ with quantities of up to 10,739 over the term.  If vendors are unable to meet that quantity, they can submit an offer on line item 0002 which is a firm, fixed quantity with a minimum of 354 and maximum of 2,123.  DLA’s Best Estimate Quantity (BEQ) for the three year term is 7,159.
