DLA Troop Support Construction & Equipment has issued a solicitation for Howden Vane axial fans, NSN 4140-01-277-5798. These large fans are used in HVAC systems.
They were last sold to the military by Howden American Fan company for $61,523 in quantity of four. Pioneer Industries has also supplied the item. The current solicitation requires nine fans.
Since the “Deliver By Date” is almost a year away June 11, 2023, Vendors/Manufacturers of fans are welcomed to submit a proposal offering other than the acceptable source of supply by submitting a Source Approval Request (SAR) with their proposal.
All offers are due by September 9, 2022.
