DLA Troop Support has issued a solicitation which will result in a five year contract for supply of men’s cotton undershirts. These white V-neck undershirts, NSN 8420-01-194-0914 will be available in various sizes. They are to comply with Military Specification A-A-50013G. The government will release periodic delivery orders against this contract over the term.
The last company to supply these to the military was String King Lacrosse, LLC for $3.36 each in quantity of 156,960. There is no set quantity in the solicitation, but the military has indicated annual demand at 288,000 shirts per year for a total quantity of 1.4 Million over five years. The maximum quantity covered by the contract is 1.8 Million shirts. Based on past procurement history pricing we estimate the value of this contract to be $4.8 Million.
