DLA Aviation has issued a solicitation for dial pressure gauges used in the HH-60 aircraft. This pressure gauge, NSN 6685-00-074-2288 is made of anodized aluminum with a Beryllium copper element. It has a range of 0 to 20 PSI marked in 5 psi increments. It’s 4″ in diameter with a 3.6″ depth. Technical data is available on this item and contractors have almost a month to respond to the RFP. The contract will last for up to five years against which periodic delivery orders will be issued.
The last company to supply these to the military was Rotair Aerospace which sold them for $4,303 each in quantity of 7. DLA estimates that they will purchase 37 of these gauges each year for an estimated total of 185 units. Based on past procurement history pricing we estimate the value of this contract at $800,000.
