BidLink has a long history providing government bid and stock number data to defense contractors and the U.S. Military. The website was one of the first providers of this data on the Internet when it went online in 1999. Our roots go even further back to 1984 when our parent company mailed out floppy disks containing current solicitations and stock number data. We had people who would physically go to military bases to write down opportunities that were posted on bid bulletin boards.
Largest collection of PDF solicitation / award documents.
Over that time BidLink has amassed the largest, most complete collection of data available to government contractors. This includes over 40 million original PDF solicitation and award documents. These documents are only retained by the government for 90 days after closing date and if it weren’t for BidLink these documents would be gone forever.
Historical data
The government provides access to current National Stock number lists but these do not include historical NSN data. BidLink regularly updates our NSN data with the latest has retained data that was removed from government databases. Sometimes companies need to learn more about an item including the name of previous manufacturers even if the company that produced it has changed names. BidLink has part data on over 1 million additional National Stock numbers for obsolete parts that are no longer in the government’s 7 million par number database.
