DLA Land and Maritime is soliciting 830 packages of 7.5 Volt batteries used for lanterns and communications equipment.  Although this is a commercial off-the-shelf item from Spectrum Brands, DLA is accepting offers from any company that can produce a battery with the following specifications:

Nominal Voltage: 7.5 volts
Terminals: Screw terminals
Max age on delivery: 5 months from date of manufacture

This Ray-O-Vac 803 battery was last supplied to DLA by L.N. Curtis & Sons for $103 per package (of four) in quantity of 1,197.  Other suppliers include Atlantic Diving Supply and Spectrum Brands. The price has risen from $82 in 2017 for 1,000 packages.  We estimate the value of this contract at $85,490.

DLA Aviation is looking for companies to compete to make this metal part used in the T37 and T38 aircraft engines.  This actuator yoke, NSN 1680-00-909-4507 is made by Arwkin Industries.   It was last sold to DLA for $488 each in quantity of 137 by Friedman Enterprises.   Other suppliers include Quality Aviation, and Trust One Components.

DLA Troop Support is soliciting 9,000 hearing protectors.  These ear muffs, NSN 4240-00-759-3290 are manufactured by David Clark, part number 372-9AN2. Technical data is available for download including military specification MIL-A-23899B(AS).

DLA Commodities division seeking company to supply  Portable Vehicle Platform Scales.  The Request For Proposal (RFP) for digital scales could result in a Long Term Contract lasting 5 years if all options are taken.
