DLA Land and Maritime is soliciting rechargeable battery packs for use in the HH-60 Helicopter.  The Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery, part number GS-46 was last supplied to the military by Roanwell Corp at $160 each in quantities over 1,000.

Several companies have competed for this business over the years including SDV Office Systems, Statz Corp, and Kampi Components.  This item is also being regularly procured through GSA.

DLA forecasts annual demand of 1,224 units for this battery.
