Currently the only supplier is Harris, corporation, selling the bags for $181.47 each in quantities from 7 to 120. DOD has an estimated unit price of $327.78, but the bags can be found online for around $90.<\/p>\n
DLA has determined that with more competition, they could see better pricing.\u00a0 As a result, they are inviting contractors to consider making these. There are no technical drawings nor data package, but DLA has samples of the bag on hand that contractors can either purchase or borrow to reverse engineer.<\/p>\n
DLA estimates annual purchases of 1,221 units at an estimated total of\u00a0$298,583.\u00a0 There is no closing date for this opportunity, but other companies will try to obtain samples and quantities might be limited.<\/p>\n
