Small Arms Cabinet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

DLA Land and Maritime is looking for more companies to compete as a source to supply small arms storage cabinets.\u00a0 The U.S. Military buys thirteen different models of small arms cabinets with a total annual aggregated demand of 433 units. Currently, there is only one supplier of this item.<\/p>\n

MTM Business Systems (aka Vital Vault) has been the exclusive supplier of these cabinets to the military since 2016.\u00a0 Prices range between $2,000 and $2,600 each depending on which model.\u00a0 In the past they were also supplied by Pioneer Industries and JGILS, LLC.<\/p>\n

The military is so interested in finding suppliers that they are making samples available for companies to reverse engineer.\u00a0 Since no technical data package is available, companies could acquire a sample and produce an cabinet with the same specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
