DLA Clothing and Textiles division is planning to issue a long-term contract for women’s and men’s double breasted wool dress coats.\u00a0 Based on the government’s annual demand estimate, the contract will cover approximately 28,116 coats over three years. The military will submit delivery orders against this contract that has one base year and two option years.<\/p>\n

A note about the first line item above; even though NSN 8405-01-600-1738 appears on a current solicitation, the stock number is officially designated as cancelled without replacement as of May 2012 according to DOD. However, the solicitation and attachments do provide enough information to produce the item.\u00a0 It might be worth mentioning to the buyer they they’re soliciting a cancelled NSN.<\/p>\n

The coats are to comply with MIL-C-29107C. All offers are due at DLA by March 30, 2021.<\/p>\n
