DLA Troop Support is soliciting a large quantity of hot weather uniforms. These Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniforms (IHWCU) include female trousers and coats. The contract could span up to five years with one base year, and four optional years against which DLA will issue delivery orders.<\/p>\n

The opportunity is broken into two separate lots, intended for two different manufacturers to supply. Lot 1 is set-aside for Hubzone<\/a>, a government designation for economically disadvantaged areas.\u00a0 Lot 2 is set-aside for small businesses.\u00a0 If a company has both designations, they could bid on both lots.<\/p>\n

Each lot has an Annual Estimated Demand of 96,000 units of both coats and trousers. DLA is looking for pricing on up to 120,000 units in each lot.\u00a0 The government will issue delivery orders with maximum quantities of 13,333 per 30 day period from each lot. Production lead time under first delivery orders 180 days after award date. Subsequent deliveries have 150 days.\u00a0 The maximum number of units from each lot is capped at 600,000.<\/p>\n

The IHWCU Female Coat NSN 8415-01-687-1010<\/a> was last supplied by M&M Manufacturing, a minority woman owned, small non-hubzone business.\u00a0 The unit price was $32.96 in quantity of 1,800. It has a part number of GL\/PD 15-04E.<\/p>\n

The female trousers NSN 8415-01-687-1971<\/a> were supplied by Golden Manufacturing (non-hubzone small business) for $46.16 in quantity of 570.\u00a0 It’s part number is GL\/PD 15-05E.<\/p>\n

All offers are due by June 9, 2021.<\/p>\n
