DLA Aviation will be issuing an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the long-term supply of high efficiency florescent ballasts.\u00a0 These T-12 ballasts NSN\u00a06250-01-491-7039<\/a> comply with military specification MIL-DTL-16377\/77.<\/p>\n

They have been supplied to the U.S. Military for the last 18 years exclusively by L.C. Doane company, although any company can submit a bid.\u00a0 The ballasts, which do not include the high efficiency T-12 bulbs were last sold to DLA for $365 in quantity of 169.\u00a0 The price has risen from $225 in 2003.<\/p>\n

The contract has two base years and three option years against which the government will submit periodic delivery orders.\u00a0 There is no set quantity for the contract, but DLA estimates it will buy 1,600 each year.\u00a0 If all five years of the contract are executed, it could be worth $2.9 Million.<\/p>\n

This contract is set-aside exclusively for small businesses.\u00a0 All offers are due by September 20, 2021.<\/p>\n
