DLA Troop Support, Clothing and Textiles division is going to issue a long-term contract for supply of men’s trousers. The contract will have one base year with the option to extend for up to five years.\u00a0 DOD almost always executes all years of a long-term contract unless there is a compelling reason to terminate.\u00a0 DLA will submit periodic delivery orders against this contract for the five year term, usually once per month.<\/p>\n

These trousers, NSN 8405-01-539-8441<\/a> were last sold to the military for $40.45 in quantity of 48 by Bestec Concept. The price has risen from $17.50 in 2008.\u00a0 Bestec is a minority, Asia-Pacific American, woman owned small business.<\/p>\n

There is no set quantity for this contract, but the military estimates annual demand at 119,232 pair each year.\u00a0 Total estimated quantity over five years is 596,160.\u00a0 The contract has a guaranteed minimum annual quantity of 29,808 and a maximum of 149,040.<\/p>\n

All responses to this RFP are due at DLA by August 17, 2021.<\/p>\n
