DLA Aviation is going to issue a five year contract for supply of seat headrest assemblies, NSN 1680-00-898-2453<\/a>.\u00a0 There is no set quantity on the order, but DLA estimates that they will purchase 148 units each year for a total of 740 headrests.\u00a0 The contract will last for five years against which DLA will submit periodic delivery orders.<\/p>\n

These headrests were last sold by\u00a0Sonfarrel, Inc for $188 each in quantity of 13.\u00a0 A first article test item is required for the government to inspect the item before taking delivery on the remaining quantity.\u00a0 Sonfarrel sold the first article test item for $1,500. Other suppliers include Aces Enterprises and AGH Industries.\u00a0 Based on past procurement history pricing, we estimate the value of this contract at $139,120.\u00a0 The OEM is Saffran Group \/ Mag Aerospace.<\/p>\n

This contract is set-aside for small businesses. Technical documentation is available so new vendors can compete.<\/p>\n
