DLA Land and Maritime in Warren Michigan has issued a pre-solicitation for feeder assemblies used in the 25MM M242 Bushmaster.\u00a0 A technical data package is available for this feeder assembly, NSN 1005-01-461-5038.\u00a0 It has a Northrop Grumman part number of 465-4100-9.\u00a0 The solicitation will be issued in about two weeks with the resulting contract lasting for five years.<\/p>\n

The only company to supply these to the military over the past twenty years was Alliant Techsystems which sold this item for $26,569 each in 2003.\u00a0 The last sale was in 2006, but pricing was not released by the government.<\/p>\n

There is no set quantity on this Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) but the government guarantees a minimum of 24 units each year with a maximum quantity of 646 over five years. They did not announce an estimated annual demand but often the maximum quantity in these contracts is also the ADQ.<\/p>\n
