Lighting fixtures used in the C-130 Hercules<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

DLA Aviation has issued a solicitation which will result in a five year contract for the supply of lighting fixtures used in the C-130 Hercules aircraft.\u00a0 Technical data is available for the fixture, NSN\u00a06210-01-455-1342, so new companies can compete.<\/p>\n

The last company to sell this item to the military was Linmarr Associates which sold 35 units for $22,600 each. The price has risen from $6,460 eight years ago. Other suppliers include JGB Enterprises, AVCTech, and Brown Helicopter.<\/p>\n

DLA estimates they will purchase 265 lighting fixtures over five years.\u00a0 The awardee has 270 days to deliver the goods after receiving each delivery order. Based on past procurement history pricing we estimate the value of this contract at $5.8 Million.<\/p>\n

All responses to this RFP are due by December 24, 2022.<\/p>\n
