DLA Aviation intends to issue a five year contract for supply of cable assemblies, NSN\u00a05995-01-467-4305, used in the F-16 aircraft.\u00a0 These single conductor copper core cables are 52.7″ in length with gold connectors and a 50 ohm impedance rating.\u00a0 Technical documentation is available for this item and DLA has provided a longer than usual response time so new companies can compete.<\/p>\n

The last company to sell these to the military was Rev-Cap Company which sold 100 units for $755 each. They are the only supplier over the last 15 years. The OEM is Times Microwave Systems with part number AE12745-2.<\/p>\n

There is no set quantity in the solicitation but DLA estimates that they will purchase 600 units annually over the five year term.\u00a0 Based on past procurement history pricing we estimate the value of this contract at $2.2 Million.<\/p>\n

All offers are due by March 27, 2023.<\/p>\n
