DLA Aviation has announced that they are looking for additional suppliers to provide this externally threaded shank adapter ,NSN\u00a04710-01-507-7949<\/a>, used on the Eagle F-15, F-16, and A-10 aircraft.\u00a0 It is managed out of Robins AFB, GA.<\/p>\n

Although the item doesn\u2019t specifically say where its used, it\u2019s probably part of some Control Unit such as an adapter for a solenoid shaft like a push\/pull operation. It\u2019s a simple item with a hole in the larger diameter of the shaft with a thread at the opposite end.\u00a0 The largest diameter is around a \u00bd inch with overall length\u00a0 about 1-1\/2 inches.<\/p>\n
