The contract will have a duration of five years against which DLA will issue periodic delivery orders.\u00a0 Technical data is available on this item if new contractors want to compete.<\/p>\n<p>This harness, NSN 5995-01-681-0498 was last sold to the military by ANA sourcing for $2,255 in quantity of 56 units.\u00a0 Four years prior the same harness was sold for $1,664 in quantity of 100.\u00a0 This is a relatively new NSN as it was registered in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Based on past procurement history and an estimated demand of 205 units over the contract term the contract should be valued at nearly a half million dollars.\u00a0 However, there is a $250,000 maximum in the solicitation. We believe that the government utilized MLC pricing to set this maximum which often lags the most recent procurement history price, potentially leaving the government short of supply for this item.
