DLA Land and Maritime has issued a solicitation for supply of 4,788 D-Cell batteries used in fire suppression systems.\u00a0 This 3.9v lithium battery, NSN\u00a06135-01-142-6456 has a pig tail connector with protection fuse embedded.<\/p>\n

These batteries were last sold to the military by Battery Specialties for $194 each in quantity of 1,922. Other suppliers include ECI Defense Group, Netkomp, and Kampi Components.\u00a0 Based on past procurement history pricing we estimate the value of this contract at just under $1 Million.<\/p>\n

Vendors have 220 days from date of award to deliver the whole quantity. All offers are due by July 10, 2024.<\/p>\n
