These Zinc Anodes are used on almost every ship in the Navy to sacrificially attract corrosion from submerged metal parts.   A full description can be found in the Military Specification MIL-DTL-18001.

Two of the stock numbers have been exclusively supplied by Belmont Metal in Brooklyn, NY, and Kampi Components has the most recent contract for 5342-00-702-1371. Prior to that, Belmont Metal has been the only source since 2012.

Based on procurement history pricing, we estimate this contract could be worth $573,859 if all six years are executed.  It has been set-aside for small businesses only.

All responses are due by February 22, 2021.
