DLA Aviation has issued a solicitation for flashlights (NSN 6230-00-264-8261) which will result in a five year contract. This flashlight has a part number of N47-IB and is manufactured by Fulton Industries. DLA estimates it will by 1,900 flashlights each year for a total of 9,500 over the contract term. Guaranteed minimum quantity is 1,650.
The last company to supply these to the military was Besheek, LLC which sold them for $14.16 in quantity of 766. An earlier order to Fulton Industries was sold for $12.81 in quantity of 1,681. Based on this we estimate the value of this contract at $130,000.
